8:00: Start with a walk
Set out your journey with a stroll along the walking trail at Red Mountain Park which is dotted with sprawling playgrounds, basketball court, fishing lake, soccer fields, softball fields, baseball fields, volleyball court, and a disc golf. After a good stroll at Red Mountain Park, start moving south on North Sunvalley Boulevard towards East Adobe Road and stop by Arby's which is located on East Main Street. 4:30 pm: Get loose in adventurous activities
Don't leave the city without tasting the adventure at Riverview Park. Get your 2 hours jam-packed with fun and thrill by trying your hand on the adventure-filled activities at the park. You can climb the 50-ft tall Genesis tower, roll up your sleeves and climb the 60-ft long caterpillar mesh, play your favorite sports in the sprawling playgrounds, take a deep dip into cool splash pad, and keep some time aside for fishing. Riverview Park is also a fantastic place for picnics and cookouts and filled with tons of eateries.

6:30 pm: Visit to ancient systems of canal
Had enough dose of adventure? Now, leave for the Park of the Canals to catch a glimpse of ancient canal systems. Van B. and Vida laid the stones of Park of the Canals to preserve the 4,500-foot of canals built by early Mormon and ancient Hohokam Indians in Salt River Valley. The National Geographic Society has declared this park a pre-eminent site for the Native American heritage, and the Hohokam canal system has won the accolade for 'Excellence in Prehistoric Engineering'.
