8:00: Start with a walk
Set out your journey with a stroll along the walking trail at Red Mountain Park which is dotted with sprawling playgrounds, basketball court, fishing lake, soccer fields, softball fields, baseball fields, volleyball court, and a disc golf. After a good stroll at Red Mountain Park, start moving south on North Sunvalley Boulevard towards East Adobe Road and stop by Arby's which is located on East Main Street. Don't leave the city without tasting the adventure at Riverview Park. Get your 2 hours jam-packed with fun and thrill by trying your hand on the adventure-filled activities at the park. You can climb the 50-ft tall Genesis tower, roll up your sleeves and climb the 60-ft long caterpillar mesh, play your favorite sports in the sprawling playgrounds, take a deep dip into cool splash pad, and keep some time aside for fishing. Riverview Park is also a fantastic place for picnics and cookouts and filled with tons of eateries.

Had enough dose of adventure? Now, leave for the Park of the Canals to catch a glimpse of ancient canal systems. Van B. and Vida laid the stones of Park of the Canals to preserve the 4,500-foot of canals built by early Mormon and ancient Hohokam Indians in Salt River Valley. The National Geographic Society has declared this park a pre-eminent site for the Native American heritage, and the Hohokam canal system has won the accolade for 'Excellence in Prehistoric Engineering'.
